Dear Grady High School Parents/Guardians:
As you are aware, Dr. Betsy Bockman is interim principal for Grady High School for the remainder of school year 2016-2017. Please be assured that the students, parents, staff and community will remain a priority during this transition in leadership.
I invite you to meet with Ms. Josie Love, Human Resources Strategic Director; Dr. Isaac Sparks, Program Director and me on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm in the Grady Cafeteria. This meeting will provide time for us to discuss the characteristics that you would like to see in the next Grady High School principal and to build a leadership profile. The leadership profile will be used to guide us in hiring a highly qualified and experienced leader to provide the best academic support and service to all Grady High School stakeholders.
As the search begins for a new principal, we want you to be involved in the process.
I look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
Dan A. Sims, Ed.D.
