CINS’ Officer Elections for the 2017-18 School Year

CINS Is Now Accepting Officer Nominations
Through Thursday, April 20, 2017

The Council of Intown Neighborhoods & Schools (CINS) is now accepting nominations for officers for the 2017-2018 school year. Open positions are co-president (two-year term), treasurer (one-year term) and secretary (one-year term).

Detailed job descriptions can be found here, and individuals may nominate themselves. ​

Nominations should include:

  • The nominee’s name/contact information
  • ​A brief statement regarding interest and qualifications
  • Grades/schools of any children attending APS in 2017-18​​

CINS Presents “A Deep Dig on the Grady Cluster Data”

When: Wednesday, January 18, 2017 @ noon
Where: Mary Lin Elementary School media center (586 Candler Park Drive NE)
Featured Speaker: John Keltz, Atlanta Public Schools Director of Research and Evaluation

Please join your fellow Grady Cluster parents, teachers, and stakeholders as we learn about the achievements and challenges in the Grady Cluster Schools. Mr. Keltz has a talent for bringing numbers to life and will share insights into the Grady Cluster’s performance data, including the College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI) for each school, demographics, test scores and more. He will also discuss how Grady Cluster schools measure against other Atlanta cluster schools, the state, and the nation.

Questions will taken from the floor, or you may submit questions in advance to John Keltz.

Attendees are welcome to bring lunch.
