The PTA needs you for a short-term commitment! We need some volunteers for the PTA Nominating Committee which is responsible for talking with and evaluating candidates for next year’s officers and proposing a slate for election at the May meeting. You only have a limited amount of time? Then this is a the perfect opportunity for you! It’s only a few meetings between February and May – but such an important role to help us choose future Inman PTA leaders. Please email for more information.
Inman PTA has formed a subcommittee to discuss dissolving our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) to become a Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). If Inman PTA members have any questions or concerns regarding this or would like to be involved on the subcommittee, please send an email.
The Georgia History teachers of Inman Middle School are pleased to announce the 8th grade Savannah, Georgia Trip to be held on Wednesday, May 3, and Thursday, May 4, 2017. This is a two (2) day one (1) night approved trip by Inman Middle School and the Atlanta Public School System. The purpose of the field trip is to enhance the learning experience of 8th grade Georgia History students at Inman Middle. The students will be able to explore and obtain “hands on” experience in order to explain Georgia’s development by visiting authentic, historical sites. Their exposure to these sites will enhance their understanding of the importance of Georgia’s first settlement, Fort Jackson, First African Baptist Church, Andersonville National Prison, and Jimmy Carter Tour in Plains, Georgia. Once again, Inman students will participate in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Pennies for Patients program – coordinated by the Inman Beta Club!
Students are encouraged to collect money between 1/23 and 2/10 in coin boxes provided to them in homeroom. Funds collected will support LLS’s mission: to find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients.
There’s also a website you can share with family and friends.
Return student boxes to homeroom on 2/10.
Last year we raised $1,200. Our goal this year is $1,500.
First place homeroom receives an Olive Garden Party, second place pizza party, and third place doughnut party.

The PTO operating budget needs your generous tax-deductible support by September 30! The suggested amount is $100 per child at Inman, but any amount is appreciated. Any amount over $20 includes a PTO family membership. $10 includes a PTO individual membership.JOIN / DONATE
