Dear Grady High School Parents/Guardians:
As you are aware, Dr. Betsy Bockman is interim principal for Grady High School for the remainder of school year 2016-2017. Please be assured that the students, parents, staff and community will remain a priority during this transition in leadership.
I invite you to meet with Ms. Josie Love, Human Resources Strategic Director; Dr. Isaac Sparks, Program Director and me on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm in the Grady Cafeteria. This meeting will provide time for us to discuss the characteristics that you would like to see in the next Grady High School principal and to build a leadership profile. The leadership profile will be used to guide us in hiring a highly qualified and experienced leader to provide the best academic support and service to all Grady High School stakeholders.
As the search begins for a new principal, we want you to be involved in the process.
I look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
Dan A. Sims, Ed.D.
Associate Superintendent of Schools (9-12)

The Inman PTA is excited to welcome The Inman Foundation as a separate support organization for our school. Please read more below about The Foundation’s focus and the many benefits it will bring to Inman.
Did you know that Inman lost $210,000 in Title I funding for the 2016-17 school year? The Inman Foundation’s mission is to provide a stable, long-term funding source for the people, programs and technology needed to make Inman the best middle school—public or private—in Georgia. The Foundation’s efforts are separate from and complementary those of the PTA. So far this academic year your contributions to the Foundation have funded gifted certification for six teachers, the state-of-the art WeatherBug science platform and teacher curriculum and technology requests across all grade levels and subjects. We need your support, this year more than ever, to ensure that the Foundation can continue to provide Inman teachers with the tools and training that they need to deliver the highest quality educational experience for your children. Please join other Inman parents by making a tax-deductible contribution in an amount that is meaningful for your family, reflects the critical role that Inman plays in your children’s lives and takes into account the unprecedented funding cuts that the school currently faces. You may contribute online or mail a check (payable to Inman Middle School Foundation) to 774 Virginia Ave., Atlanta, GA 30306.
The PTO operating budget needs your generous tax-deductible support by September 30! The suggested amount is $100 per child at Inman, but any amount is appreciated. Any amount over $20 includes a PTO family membership. $10 includes a PTO individual membership.
